QUESTIONS FOR THE PCX?...WE GOT YOU COVERED...

How do you divide the campers?

It is important that campers get to play against other campers of similar ability and skill level. To make sure each camper is properly placed, during the registration process we ask each applicant to provide us with their age, years experience, and level (Varsity, Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner).
Varsity: At least 1 season of High School Varsity experience
Advanced: Above average stick skills, 3 or more seasons of organized lacrosse
Intermediate: Average stick skills, 1-2 seasons of organized lacrosse
Beginner: Less than one season of organized lacrosse
Using these factors we place each camper into a division at camp. These divisions are flexible, so that if a camper demonstrates enough ability to move up he will have that option. In this way we hope to accommodate campers of all ability levels and to maximize their camp experience.

Are there any awards for the campers?
Awards are given every day in each division for outstanding play, attitude, hustle, and overall coachability. At the end of each camp, a short awards ceremony will be held to recognize a few players in each division for their hard work over the course of the week. Parents are welcome to attend awards ceremonies as well as any game segments during the camp.

I want some free gear...what are we gettin?

I'm thirsty! Is there a camp store around here?
A camp store will provide snacks and drinks as well as lacrosse equipment in some locations. The camp store works on a cash-only basis and does not accept checks or credit cards.

Dude...I mean Coach Dude...what do I need to bring to this camp?
Campers should bring all lacrosse equipment as well as cleats, shoes for artificial turf, mouthpiece, athletic supporter, socks, gym shorts, sleeping bag for overnight camps (except at U of Oregon where linens are provided), toiletries and towels. Campers should also bring clothes to wear during evenings and off field times.
