What goes on at PCX camps?
Everything at our camps revolves around two things: becoming a better lacrosse player and having fun! If you are just beginning to play, a PCX camp can help you learn as much as a whole year of regular team practices. Advanced players who already know the basics will be challenged with high-level coaching in a variety of competitive situations. Instruction for all players starts in the morning with individual instruction and small group drills focusing on the building blocks of good lacrosse: catching, throwing, ground balls, dodging, 1v1's, 2v2's, and 3v3's. The coaching staff will demonstrate new drills and explain both offensive and defensive strategy before each segment. In the afternoons we move into more complex ideas and team drills: fast breaks, slow breaks, and 6v6. Every day will end with live scrimmaging to try out new skills in real game situations. Each player will leave camp with greater confidence, overall knowledge of the game, and some free gear. Join the Players Club for a week and see yourself become a better player in a few days.
